Dear Barack Obama

I love the idea behind your message. I've dreamed of someone stepping
forward and not only speaking that message but gaining the widespread
support that you now enjoy. So how is it that I find myself supporting
someone else now? It isn't that I've abandoned my dream. There is just
a change I've added now. Now I dream of someone stepping forward and
speaking that message, gaining the support, and living the message.
Once upon a time I naively thought that someone who spoke a message
like you speak couldn't play the same old game of politics and yet
here you have. I have to congratulate you for the brilliance of it, I
have no doubt that with the message of hope and the politic game mixed
together you can be President.

What I really wanted though was not someone who could out play the
politicians but someone who then they say that every vote counts would
also mean in Michigan and Florida even though they lost. I wanted a
politician who could say you know what this isn't right and this isn't
fair EVEN if it is in my best interests to look the other way. I'm
sorry that I confused you for that person for a brief moment in time.
Please just tread carefully with the bruised country you have the
chance to lead.

Thank you.
